Bird Concerns releases new single "The Monster"

Los Angeles surf rock band introduced their new single “The Monster” on February 1st.

Engineered by Theo Karon (Mavis Staples, Angel Olsen), the record stays true to the rock ’n’ rock authentic sound.
“We wanted to make something that is rooted in tradition. We’re more interested in asking questions than giving statements”, expresses Buser.

“The Monster” reflects on an important matter that many of us can relate to. It is about defeating our own demons and learning how to accept ourselves as we are, despite what others might think.
“The Monster is inspired by my own struggles with depression, anxiety and misplaced guilt. It’s a song about learning to accept yourself and in turn give acceptance to others”, reveals Buser.

"The Monster” is a simple and honest record that paints a beautiful musicality in the rock ‘n’ roll music landscape. The band’s ability to create a nostalgic atmosphere is being perceived through the authenticity and quality of their sound, offering timeless melodies and rich vocal harmonies.

Formed by Marcus Buser (Bass, Vocals), Travis Meador (Guitar, Vocals), Jake Sucher (Guitar, Vocals) and Cooper Wolken (Drums, Vocals), the Los Angeles band gets their influences from artists like Deerhoof, The Zombies, and The Cure to craft their fresh rock ‘n’ rock sound.

After the release of their debut EP Is This Really Love? and a successful west coast tour, the band is now working on a full length album, which will include the new single “The Monster”, now available worldwide.
