"being single" by ÊMIA

It’s been a minute since I last wrote something on this section. But ÊMIA has been inspiring me a lot lately, I had to write a little something about this new song.
ÊMIA has been getting better and better, especially since "Bet You Left it Out". I've been following her since 2019 (time flies !!) and it's crazy how good she gets release after release. Her previous single "fake scenarios" was already a huge record (and it’s also one of her best songs in my opinion), but the new single "being single" is even better. I think the lyrics on “being single” are some of her most personal and straightforward lyrics. And maybe her most personal song?! Songs like these don’t remain unnoticed. With this song, ÊMIA immediately caught our attention with her message.
Her productions have always been amazing. She would always make her productions sound interesting, colorful and exciting. The production on "being single" is no exception. It's big and we don't really get to hear this specific type of productions nowadays, which makes it super authentic. Shout out Charlie Kurata for killing this one.
Another thing I love about ÊMIA is her unique melodies. I fucking LOVE the way she sings each word and how she manages to bring so much dynamic to her songs with her crazy melodies and vocals.
"being single" is another great pop record and I know there are more amazing songs to come.
ÊMIA has also been killing it in the songwriting and production world, and has been working with some amazing female indie artists like Brooke Alexx and ellie d. 2022 is already a GOOD year for ÊMIA and I couldn’t be more proud of her !!
